Funding is available for the Quantock community
Grants of £100-£25,000 are available for individuals, community groups, businesses and schools with projects that help improve the Quantock Hills.
The Quantock Hills AONB Service has £60,000 to give away to worthwhile projects that meet the Sustainable Development Fund’s criteria. We welcome projects that help to protect the environment, helps the rural economy and meets the needs of a wide range of people.
Recent projects have ranged from children becoming ‘heritage ambassadors’ (see photo), to the creation of an award-winning bee garden, a charcoal making project, a woodland play area, a Long-eared owls project and the restoration of an ancient well.
