Our New Man On The Ground

We are delighted to announce a new member of our AONB team, Owen Jones.

He is joining us on a one year contract as part-time Volunteer Co-ordinator to increase the volunteering opportunities within the AONB.  He will be looking to enhance the linkages with the existing volunteer group (Quantock Conservation Volunteers) which is a joint initiative between the AONB Service and the National Trust.

Owen says “The AONB is looking to offer a wider range of opportunities to existing volunteers and develop the relationship we have within the partnership. This will allow volunteers, and the Quantock Hills to benefit greatly from all the skills and experience on offer.”
