We have had reports from the commoners that well meaning public are bringing single lambs to them under the impression that they have been abandoned by their mothers.
This is usually not the case and causes great distress to both lamb and mother so please leave the lambs alone as their mothers will soon find them. In fact, as spring progresses, a similar situation will happen with a range of wild life on the Hills, particularly the red deer who can leave their young alone all day to avoid attracting predators. The best thing to do is walk away!
